What to wear to a bad bunny concert

Puerto Rican’s golden boy, and the biggest pop star in the world right now is in the middle of the European half of his “Deb Tirar Ms Fotos World Tour“. But we assumed you, one of the Bunnies already knew.

In between stops in Barcelona, Lisbon, Madrid, Arnhem and Düsseldorf Benito is hitting the British capital this week for two nights at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a stadium located in North London (27 and 28 June).

It’s been announced that every single ticket has been sold, and Bad Bunny made a new British record for tickets sold for any Latin American performer. If you, like I suspect, are one of the select Bunnies in the stadium to be dancing the night away to EoO, you’re currently caught in a stylistic tornado, and you need some advice. For the Bunnies unsure of what to wear to Bad Bunny, we put together this short cheat sheet with some style inspirations from different phases of the artist’s career.

1. Neutral shades

Bad Bunny has been living neutral for his most recent era; we’ve all been there. Between his fantastic Super Bowl halftime performance and his toned-down stage wardrobe, the performer has been experimenting with all shades of cream, ecru, beige, and more. The trick is to wear what either you get from one of his many La Casita “celebrity residents”, some background dancers, or Benito himself-and you can rest assured that there’s still going to be joy there, just in subtler hues. Pick up some neutral crochet and knit tops for short season or wear warm tone cargo with a few accessories. Or hell, you could rock a suit like Benito-the most unexpected gig look could wind up being just the linen/Jersey suit you buy to pull your whole look together after the heat wave starts and not to take it off until the season has finally finished and we are back in fall with no heat to speak of.

2. Fun prints and bright colours

While he only arrived in Europe last month, in fact, his ‘Deb Tirar Ms Fotos’ tour began last year. The constant inundating of videos of fans showcasing their fits to his gigs on my TikTok has provided me with the biggest clues and the overarching theme is that despite the minimal colors that are often a significant focus on stage at Bad Bunny gigs this summer, this artist certainly does bring out the colors and the prints in his crowds. No doubt as the celebration of extreme optimism is such a monumental element in fostering the development of his unique style beyond the stage – and that there’s no clearer way to honor these early celebrations by embracing this season’s dopamine dressing.

The Spanish designer’s capsule for Zara is filled with unisex pieces imbued with the same care-free vibe that we want our wardrobes to tap into this summer. There’s bags of colour in the collection and it’s designed so that every item goes well with every other, making it a brilliant time to attempt a spot of colour blocking, or turn instead to hues of canary yellow, grass green and crimson, or graphic floral and tropical prints cut from floaty material and poised to get you in holiday mood and make that announcement: a party will follow, in case you couldn’t tell.

3. Bold accessories

For his red-carpet appearance, Bad Bunny always looks well-put-together, experimenting with all the fun details in menswear with playful flair. Simply have a look through the changing roster of his Met Gala fashion statements: For all the outfits that have been fashioned in the name of Bad Bunny, his stylist Storm Pablo is always clever in topping things off with accessories to tie it all together.

Bad Bunny Merch adores a fun little hat nearly just as much as he has an attachment for miniature sunglasses or an outlandish brooch – all that can be used to elevate your normal summer attire to a full Bad Bunny concert ensemble (if you just grab some or all from this). As always, turn to a good reseller for some pieces you won’t find everywhere – there’s, however, nothing stopping you from finding excellent pieces from high street retailers as well.
